I caught the boom of tiny (very tiny) and My tastes were diametrically opposed. What was cool to me (and I still molando, but less) were the superhero comics, Marvel comics in particular. My favorites were undeniable Fantastic 4 Thing especially (which I, in my ignorance, called the stone man), then were the Avengers and Spiderman. Unfortunately I was born too late to live the revolution experimental English comiquera where, as elsewhere, there were real gems and a lot of shit. The scheme, influenced by European magazines, was simple: 8-page stories that are then published in a hardcover Unit album. The genders were different (from horror and science fiction to humor) but always from a mature perspective, adult offenders. Unfortunately industrial machinery went straight to exploit the simple and obvious: the subject of sex (well, sex is not simply aunts balls) falling into a monotony that would be the final cause of boredom and neglect the reader with the passage of time.
In short, "comics of the transition" is a very interesting book that shows in detail a form of cultural expression in a turbulent and revolutionary period of our country.
